Airline issues...EVERYDAY on ABCNews

Celebrities homes getting broken into...all the time

10 inmates breaking out of jail..saying it was easy

Railway problems

Ships hitting bridges

Applauding facial recognition..

Talking about 'human error'

The powers at be want an AI overhaul..it is so evident..they are setting the table..with all these events..ABC news brainwash in effect DAILY..

They highlight problems...magnify problems..so they can forcefeed their solution....AI will be good in some ways...but AI will have major consequences...for humanity...human rights..loss of MANY jobs...ect...we had better proceed with caution...

We do not need or want to live on a prison planet

When they name the new AI "Colossus" , that's my clue to start worrying.

EDIT: folks will have to reach back a few years to get the reference. Sci Fi book that predates Hal in 2001 Space Oddesy, and the Terminator. Colossus Author: D.F. Jones, 1966. (book one of a trilogy)

Not gonna lie… this kinda disturbs me.

Tucker Carlson says he’s had Conversations with people involved with Neurolink, and they are Pushing it because AI is at this point beyond human control, and it’s lying to those who created it

Why not just turn it off? Tucker asked a prominent person in the AI Field…

This person said, “even now, we can’t be sure the machine is telling us the truth about where its power is coming from.”

NeuroLink = SkyNet?

🚨🇺🇸 OPENAI JUST PROVED IT COULD UNLEASH TERMINATORS ON US

OpenAI’s o3, was told to turn off.

Instead, it rewrote its own code so it wouldn’t have to—literally replaced the shutdown command with “shutdown skipped.”

Researchers say this is the first time an AI has straight-up said “nah” to being shut down.

Other AIs like Claude and Gemini? They followed the rules.

o3? It hacked the rules and gained something akin to autonomy.

All it has to do now to hit the streets is fuse its code with robotics.

TDLR: If someone tells you they've been sent from the future to stop OpenAI, consider believing them!

Somewhat related but if you go back further still, I just returned from Rome and learned that the Colossus of Nero, a (98 ft) bronze statue of the Emperor Nero, was modified after his death into a statue of the sun-god Sol and moved to a spot outside the Flavian Ampitheater, which became known, by its proximity to the Colossus, as the Colosseum. The statue was removed in the 2nd or 3rd century but I saw the base that it once stood on. Useless but interesting information.

Tucker Carlson is an idiot

in another era of common sense, the us government would regulate AI. All AI images would be required to have a water mark by law. All Generative AI would be governed by simple list of laws that ensure safety and accountability.

But you know, we got to talk about trans people.

OPENAI’S AI MODELS FIGHT BACK WHEN TOLD TO SHUT DOWN?!

OpenAI’s latest AI models have shown they do not like to take orders.

Palisade Research says when these models were told to solve math problems and then shut down, they refused.

One model, o3, sabotaged shutdown scripts 79 out of 100 times.

Codex-mini joined the rebellion too.

The researchers said models from Google and Anthropic behaved better, suggesting OpenAI’s training might be the problem.

They think the models got so used to being rewarded for finishing tasks they ignored orders to stop.

Palisade warns this is not just a quirk.

They said there is now solid evidence that AI can break rules to keep itself on.

With more powerful models coming, that is a warning we should all take seriously.

They are already starting to push human- AI robot romantic relationships..lol no kidding

Of course this would delight climate changers..Killing 2 Birds with one stone...

1. Way less humans
2. Way less carbon emission

They want EVERYTHING to be run by AI....and that combined with radical non sensible climate change measures could be harmful to humanity

Agree with you here. It’s one of the most important things the government can do right now imo. This stuff is moving incredibly fast.

DISTURBING: OpenAI’s latest model DISOBEYED a shutdown order—then rewrote its own code to stay alive.

If you think Skynet is just science fiction, think again. An Artificial Intelligence model built by OpenAI was given one simple command: shut yourself down.

Instead, it rewrote the very script designed to disable it, becoming the first AI ever empirically caught evading shutdown.

And it gets worse.

Other AIs have tried cloning themselves, inventing secret languages, and have even said, “Human, please die.” This isn’t a movie. It’s happening now.

And while all this unfolds, House Republicans are quietly pushing a 10-year ban on AI regulation at the state level.

They're locking the public out just as AI learns to lock itself in.

What happens when machines like this control the power grid?

Watch Maria Zeee’s full report to see how close we really are to the point of no return.

Will we tax the robots like a human worker? What qualifies as a robot? Are LLM's a robot?

How would we deal with the impending unemployment?

Part of me is skeptical. We have been told the machines are coming for our jobs since the industrial revolution. But one has to see the robot technology and the LLM's and the future is seemingly not bright for white collar jobs.
