I went to an Army buddy's retirement ceremony this past weekend up at Fort Knox. The presiding officer and host of the ceremony was Major General (Retired) Pete Bayer, who now works at Penske Logistics as a Senior Vice President. My buddy had served with him twice in Iraq.
During the ceremony General Bayer presented my buddy with one of his personal coins (a custom he borrowed from his time in the Army). On one side it said something about Penske and their motto, but on the other side it said, "All In." Then General Bayer, who had no connection to Clemson, went on a long discussion about how he really respects and likes Clemson. "I really admire Dabo Swinney as a football coach. He's got the best philosophy of a football coach: 'All In.'"
(My buddy and his family were grinning at my wife and me when he brought up Dabo. They are OU fans but always go to the Clemson-Louisville games and proudly wear orange when we play at Louisville.)
