Several years ago on my Wife’s birthday, I was in a hurry to get home for her birthday dinner. Stopped at local pharmacy and purchased the first card I saw that said “Happy Birthday”…it was in Mother’s Section of card rack. Didn’t bother reading the inside of card! Signed it quickly and sealed it. Placed by her plate on dining table. Before we ate, she opened her presents and cards. The card I got her said “Happy Birthday from the Both of Us”…she put it on the fireplace mantel where it stayed until her NEXT birthday…lesson learned…always read those damn overpriced cards! Hope all of you bought appropriate Mother’s Day cards!!
