It was only going to do most of those things if you listened to retarded media outlets. If you listen to actual scientists it was never doing most of that. Reduced the spread and reduce the severity, yes. In a much higher number keep you from dying? Yes. And it did that in spades. If you keep listening to Fox News you’ll continue to get coverage that isn’t the truthiestRight... So how much did the "science" change on the vaccine? It was supposed to stop you from getting it. It didn't. It was supposed to stop you from spreading it. It didn't. And you can talk all you want about historical vaccines, but with Covid specifically (not MRNA generally), there were no longitudinal studies proving both efficacy and long-term safety.
I'm very happy with the decision we made. My family remains very healthy. In fact, we were just talking the other day about some of our friends' kids who seem to "catch everything" and are constantly sick. Many of these families load up on covid and flu vaccines. We take/took neither and amazingly, none of us have had the flu (I don't think I've ever had it and my kids have never had it) and a couple brushes with covid have been super minor.
Many historical vaccines have been gamechangers from a pop health standpoint. Small pox, polio... great! But we attempted to rush a vaccine for a rapidly mutating virus and force it on people who everyone knew were exceptionally low risk for any sort of complication. In fact, "the science" clearly showed that people under 50 (and especially kids) with no comorbidities were extremely low risk. So we did in fact "trust the science."

If they felt so strongly about Donald Trump as an advocate of Medical Knowledge, why did they become anti-Covid Vaccine? He spearheaded getting it out quickly, and was vaccinated himself.
Because of two things- they knew covid was the reason he lost plus when the vaccine wasn't approved until after the election, they saw it as a big conspiracy...then combine that with their anger at Fauci for contradicting him on hydroxy and their rage turned them into anti- science maniacs who mis-trusted all things related to covid and the vaccine.
The fam is pissed that RFK actually is trying to work within the Trump admin. RFK committed a mortal sin by rebelling against the Dem orthodoxy.
It's also because RFK is a complete dipshit who directly led to the deaths of 50+ children in American Samoan due to his negligence and antivax nonsense.

I didn't say anything about owning you. HHS isn't something that i gave a shit about under Trump I or Biden or anyone prior to. However, RFKs talking about stuff in our food and vaccines, and the incestuous relationship between the USG and big parma and big food does resonate with me. I have to believe that we can make changes that will pay large dividends over time.

Hawaii's governor who is also a physician visited Samoa after RFK's stint there led to the deaths of 83 children and he saw and heard firsthand what he did.
