Explain what? I don't advocate anyone to be out in a packed crowd during a pandemic, be it for a Biden celebration or a Trump rally. My family was certainly at home and not at any of the gatherings in Decatur or Atlanta.
Please explain the hypocrisy of liberalism in America.

Why do I have to explain the actions of others, other than to say that I disagree with them? I thought the same things about the protests this summer. Avoid large crowds during a pandemic if reasonable distancing isn't possible.
Do you feel that displaying instances of hypocrisy in those that you disagree with somehow lessens the hypocrisy of those with whom you do agree? Because I don't condone either.
At some point, I hope you find the fortitude to admit and acknowledge the Covid fear was pushed and used by the left for political gain. If this picture doesn’t prove it, you’re not being honest, and you’re better than that.
Unscrupulous people most certainly tried to politicize the pandemic for their own gain. Some pushed excessive fear and worst-case-scenarios while others cast Covid-19 as "nothing more than the flu" and a hoax. Both are wrong and unacceptable.
I live in the middle. I took my family to Disney World. We get together with friends and family. We just take precautions. Smart people are able to see through the bullshit on both sides.
One more note on liberal hypocrisy, and my personal experience with it.
After the 2016 election, my friends who supported Hillary were incensed by the Trump victory. They were starting to spew a ton of nonsense about trying to get the state electors to go against the election results. Ironically, the same nonsense that some Trumpers are spewing now. But I digress... Eventually they turned their fury towards the electoral college in general. They said it was ridiculous and archaic, and started to distribute petitions about a constitutional amendment to abolish the practice in favor of a straight popular vote.
I was quick to push back and propose this scenario to them: I said, "Imagine that Hillary won the electoral college, but the red states really broke hard for Trump, and he won the popular vote. Are you telling me that you would be sitting here passionately complaining about the electoral college? Because I have a suspicion that you would be saying something more like 'Thank goodness we have a system where educated electors get to choose our President, and not a bunch of rural yokels.'"
I do not hesitate to point out hypocrisy when I see it. It's a terrible trait of both sides. But it's not about keeping a consistent point of view on certain issues. It's about people saying whatever they need to in the moment to defend their party. So sad.

Also, amazing that there is criticism of 18-22 year old students when I have seen on TI that there is no way (and no reason) to control them. Students will do what students will do.
So to insinuate that 18 to 22 year olds rooting for a football team that defeated the No. 1 team in the nation are reprehensible liberals for running on the field after the game is a bit perplexing.
And to your larger point, with COVID cases skyrocketing to nearly 150,000 a day and an expected 30,000 Covid-Related deaths expected in November, it isn't gone. It won't be eradicated for quite some time.

I completely agree with your complaint. Those folks should be wearing masks, and rushing out and celebrating w/o them is a potential super spreader event. It's big time stupid.
However, I'm a bit puzzled why YOU would have a problem with it. You think it's a big old nothing burger despite the numbers of dead Americans and had no problems with Trump running about the country after testing positive and really never wearing a mask.

I feel you man. But the question remains. If the pandemic is a hoax, no reason to wear a mask so no reason to complain. If the pandemic IS a hoax, then those people are taking a chance on killing themselves. Given your feelings on the matter... seems like a win-win from your perspective.
I have never said the pandemic was a hoax. I said the Democrats never waste a good crisis and have blown it out of proportion to get Trump out of office. I don’t care for anyone to die. Blowing it out of proportion has cost many more deaths than actual deaths from Covid.
So are you saying more than 500,000 people above average have died in 2020? That’s news to me. The SCIENCE community calculated that 200,000 people above the norm have died and attribute it to people dying with the virus. Please cite stats showing the actual number is more than double that.
