A colleague recommended Sobur to me. It is a pill to take while drinking to prevent hangovers. It's $36 for a bottle of 20 pills and I've used it about 6 times now. It has worked every time, and I'm 100% a believer. I used to not really have to deal with hangovers, but they have gotten much much worse as I have gotten older. My chances to really throw it down are a lot fewer and far between as well.
Anyway, he told me to take one pill when I start drinking, and take another 4 hours later (this isn't what is stated on the bottle, but this works). If you're drinking more than 8 hours it will still work to some extent, but it won't be terribly effective. Three of the 6 times I have been mixing it up (shots, cocktails, beers, wine) and drinking heavily over the course of about 7 hours. I woke up the next morning and felt probably 85 - 90%. I'll take that all day long.
Also, obviously it is recommended to drink a glass of water with each pill, and at the end of the night. It certainly does not hurt.
Anyway if this can help anyone else then this post was worth it.
