No, you either aren’t watching because you aren’t into movies and the world of entertainment, or you are watching because you are, and don’t care what differing opinions you may hear.
Yet, you aren’t watching because you don’t want to hear an opinion different from your own. so, in fact, you care very very much. Such that you are purposely not watching something you might otherwise enjoy, because of what they MIGHT say into a microphone on a stage to millions of watching eyes who probably have similar views as your own.

I didn’t say you are shoving it down my throat. I enjoy seeing how political differences rule and alter people’s lives. But, I said TI’s throat, because there are some that don’t care for it, just as you claim that you don’t care for liberal hollywood using an awards show. ‘Shoving it down your/their throat’ is just using one of your go to phrases.
People tuning in to the oscars don’t ask for them to share their opinions, but it’s understood that someone might. When you start an OT thread, as you say, on TigerIllustrated, did anyone ask you to do so? If not, then it’s particularly arrogant or just a lack of courtesy, comparatively, to dole out your version of what’s right politically/socially without anyone asking you to, when you continuously complain about people you don’t even know (celebrity ‘libs’) doing the exact same to you.
Or do another Hollywood retread. Is this the third or fourth version of “A Star is Born”? I’ve lost count.

Honestly, I have never had a great interest in awards shows, but would casually watch them for a few minutes if I had nothing else to do or watch, but with the magnified level of hollywood involvement in the so called resistance................well F them! I wont give them a ratings point at my house and I have quit watching certain shows that have the worst big mouths involved. Thats honest feedback...if anyone doesnt like it...too bad.

I hadn’t been to the movies in years. Can’t stand the Hollywood crowd. I don’t hate them however like they hate conservative people like me. Why should I support them when they make my life more difficult.
You can care in a negative fashion. Caring what someone has to say doesn’t have to be in a positive manner. To not care, you’d have to be completely indifferent to what they are saying.
Well, the ratings for the Oscars is way down. Not saying it's totally political, but it doesn't help their cause. There are so many other things to watch now, I don't remember the last time I watched an awards show.
Not really understanding why its so far fetched someone wouldnt watch because they didnt want to hear the political stuff by these actors. My favorite actor is Robert Deniro. He is brilliant as an actor. I couldnt disagree more with his political views but hes an actor. I personlly think you have to be careful with the line in the sand stuff because sooner or later, you dont have an auto mechanic, or a real estate agent, or a local convenience store clerk and you're in a real bind. Not that I wouldnt want to debate or discuss some things with some of these people but I dont want to hear them bash politicains (either side) and just give their opinions.

Do you really believe that it’s them making your life more difficult as opposed to the amount of weight, value and importance, as it relates to your own life, you are actually putting into those words that is making your life more difficult?
