This kids feet and work ethic are going to make him a lot of money . I think the drought of Clemson OL in the NFL will come to an end .Footwork 👌
That's gonna end after this yr.This kids feet and work ethic are going to make him a lot of money . I think the drought of Clemson OL in the NFL will come to an end .
And he doesn’t have a bunch of baby fat on him. Same build as Chester McGlockton for a person that large. I was on campus when Chester was a freshman and I asked my roommate which LB that was. He was that well put together.Footwork 👌
Thinking you're talking about true freshman OT Brayden Jacobs who's the son of Brandon Jacobs - former NY Giants RBIs he one of the recruits that has a dad that was a professional football player?
Saw Brandon Jacob’s dad outside the game and bless the dudes that tried to tackle that guy. Keith Brooking sat in front of me and think he could still put pads on and playThinking you're talking about true freshman OT Brayden Jacobs who's the son of Brandon Jacobs - former NY Giants RB

Agree about Brooking. Looked like a bad dudeIt's crazy that Brayden dwarfs Brandon. He's that big.
Brooking still gives off gritty, mean SOB vibes to this day.
IMO, Logan was one of the biggest pleasant surprises of the spring.
My 5 year old son was playing on the field and asked Jacobs to sign his football. Brandon Jacobs is a monster. Brayden makes him look like a regular human.Saw Brandon Jacob’s dad outside the game and bless the dudes that tried to tackle that guy. Yeah he looks great, footwork, body composition. Curious, are those scrubs he’s throwing around or highly rated athletes? And he doesn’t have a bunch of baby fat on him. Same build as Chester McGlockton for a person that large. I was on campus when Chester was a freshman and I asked my roommate which LB that was. He was that well put together.
Has a great showing at a Rivals camp and then they drop him in the rankings. Makes sense.
At some point it stops being a conspiracy and starts to become reality. Even the kids that are trending our way dropped. It's like Rivals ranks the kids based on the power 2 conferences affiliation. I'd love for someone to do the breakdown of Clemson commits over the years with their starting ranking compared to where they finished. The disparity in drops vs risers has to be astonishing. He’s had multiple great camp performances. So it makes even less sense. I’m sure there’s no bias because he committed to Clemson??
My guess is Wise will be the starting center and Barclay starting beside him…both really early on. Homerun gets!Looks like he could be a 4 year starter at Center
This man is all business.
For me, I just counted the number of time her threw someone to the ground divided by total snaps. Seems like a bauce-type ratio. HahaI'll be the first to admit that I don't know what to really look for in technique/tape as my high school coach can vouch for but this kid looks as legit as it gets
Barclay reminds me of Pouncey. That is a heavy burden to carry but it looks like the young man is up to it.Time will tell what he'll be.
But I'll happily self-pat the back with this repost of a mailbag question from a while ago:
--------------------------------
Waterfowlobession: Can you rank the current offensive line offers on which you would most want?
PAUL: An important distinction you provide, as this denotes personal taste rather than where I believe they should be ranked. And there is a difference.
Wrote last summer that Orlando (Fla.) First Academy four-star Chancellor Barclay (6-4, 280) was my favorite from the Dabo Swinney Camp, and that stands among the 13 prospects Matt Luke has offered this cycle.
That doesn't mean he should be ranked the highest; that distinction tends to go to the premium larger-framed linemen, and justifiably so. A case can always be made for finding the combination of height, length and feet that culminate in Clemson this year rolling out Miller and Leigh as its veteran tackles.
But I really liked Barclay's agility and work ethic paired with a personality that marries into Clemson's culture. More athleticism into that room.
