Prior to Christmas in 1982, probably the biggest upset ever in college basketball happened. Chaminade (NAIA team) defeated University of Virginia (8-0) 77-72. It happened at a Christmas Holiday tournament in Hawaii. Virginia was ranked #1 at the time and had the great Ralph Sampson on that team. Now, 41 years later…I don’t believe this Upset has been topped!
