I know you don't have a comp sci background so explaining cryptography versus prime number findings and what will happen with quantum computing isn't really worth our time. The market will be flooded, how the controlling companies chose to do this is what is scary.
I do have a computer science background and i have taken cryptography classes.
I don't dispute the risk from quantum computing. It's why i say that BTC will need to update.

I've never even talked about 'cracking BTC' although all cryptography is now obsolete. I've always been talking about mining it. Quantum computing, which is inconceivable compared to what you are used to in linear algebra implemented digital binary computing, will calculate all outcomes of an algorithm at once.
I'm not your teacher and I get 0 out of our discussions so, go get a book and broaden your knowledge on what I've stated above. Or don't, who cares?
