Been interesting to read posts and even articles here over the past day or two. Most seem to agree the outcome of the game proves we haven’t improved at all and continue our downward spiral. I guess I’m not so quick to make that judgment. It was one game. Let’s see how the next few go before making a decision on Cade, Dabo, the program as a whole, etc. we’ve certainly been on the positive side of a blowout many times. Think about our playoff wins over ND, OSU, Oklahoma, even Bama! The final score wasn’t necessarily indicative of how large the talent gap or the gap between programs actually was. I think in CFB, much more than the NFL, momentum can really start rolling downhill quickly. If you don’t do something that stems the tide, it becomes a runaway train. I’m as disappointed as any on here, but I still think we can have a pretty good season despite Saturday’s result.
