I noticed in Bracketology that Georgia is in the tournament presently. They have lost 7 of their last 9. There are 14 SEC teams in the tournament. That's crazy. The ACC only has three and I disagree with that. It should end up at four or five. My issue with the system we use is they take the early season and use that to justify results the rest of the way. That's ridiculous. It's the early season. What other sport doesn't account for improvement over the season by a team? Perhaps I am missing something but the process used seems very broken. Another oddity is they have UNC in the first four out. Why is that? It's because in the early season they played a murderous schedule and lost. So all their "good losses" are keeping them in the mix. That, to me, is also ridiculous.
The entire process is designed to reinforce original wrong findings. I don't get it...
