My son is getting into golf and I'm looking to get a set of clubs as a special gift (so not looking for a used set). Specifically, I'm looking at U.S. Kids clubs. The problem is it feels like he is in-between sizes and growing like a weed.

He's 55". I'm confused about what to get. He falls in the range for the 54" set. However, it says it's for 8-10 year olds, whereas the 57" set says it's for 9-11 year olds. So, the sets sort of overlap in that respect.

So, do you go with the size that fits him right now? Or the one that he'll likely fit in a year and let him grow into it? It shouldn't be confusing, but it is.
