If you leave $10 on a table, do you think the waiter or waitress pays taxes on that? Or simply put it in their pocket and never claim it. The no tax on tips is a very limited tax cut if you ask me.

Last month a couple of guys brought a new fridge to my house and got rid of the old 1. I gave both guys $10 a piece do you think they paid taxes on that? 😅🤣

It’s estimated the gov will lose around $40 billion per year from this, so it’s not nothing. I’d also fully expect some to find loopholes in this and start reporting income as “tips” to avoid taxes.

It’s more about keeping your word.

If Trump wanted to win he needed Nevada. No tax on tips is popular in Vegas. It was also made Kammy look like a copy cat and showed she had no originality.

So it’s a gimmick and I don’t necessarily agree with it, but if you campaigned on it, it’s best to follow through.

Is this not a plot by the restaurant and services lobby to keep the minimum wage down and keep this silly system in place.

Most restaurants require servers and busboys to turn in tips and many pool them and distribute equally. This law will result in more take home Pay so I’m all for it.

This is 1 of the reasons I not a liberal. O my God, the government will lose around $40 billion of THEIR MONEY!!!!

No Tax on tips will provide immediate relief to the lower income working class population which is good for the nation. No tax on OT will help the lower and middle class folks which is also extremely good for the nation. Trump's 1st term tax cuts will be extended which helps everyone.
