It runs too late into the year. Trying to do the semis on Thursday/Friday before NFL wildcard weekend (they don’t dare do head/head against the NFL) doesn’t work. I just couldn’t get into the game last night as good of a game it turned out to be. The orange and cotton bowls on workday nights in mid Jan suck.
They really do need to do a lot different with the design of this thing. Maybe do away with conference championship games and push the schedule ahead at least 1 week.
