This is a strange post because I know we have a lot of Charleston locals - and to be honest, I’ve been to Charleston a bunch of times when I was in college for formals, semi-formals, or just visiting buddies houses in IOP, Mt Pleasant, Daniel Island, and James Island (I hope I got the names right???).
It’s been a few years since I’ve been back to Charleston and my wife and I want to start a tradition of going somewhere every year for our anniversary.
She’s never been so I want to show her the beauty and charm of the city
Any recommendations are greatly appreciated.

- Staying at one or the Hiltons in historic Charleston
- She just wants to shop a bit and check out good restaurants (but we aren’t picky eaters)
