With Selection Sunday roughly 7 weeks away I figured it was time to start this Annual thread. Tigers are firmly in the field today with the opportunity to improve their seed line over these final 11 games (or play their way onto/off the bubble with the wrong losses... but we'll avoid putting that negative energy out there!). Here is the Clemson profile and what is remaining as of today:
Rankings
NET – 31
KPI – 23
SOR – 29
WAB – 26
BPI – 27
Kenpom – 27
Torvik – 35
NET SOS – 72
Non-Conf SOS - 78
Current NET Record
Q1 3-2
Q2 3-2
Q3 4-0
Q4 6-0
Remaining Schedule
Q1 - 3 games (Duke, @ FSU, @ SMU)
Q2 - 3 games (@ NCSU, UNC, @ UVA)
Q3 - 4 games (@ VT, GT, ND, @ BC)
Q4 - 1 game (VT)
Bracket Matrix currently has us with an average seed line of 8 (top ranked 8 seed)... highest current seed projection of 6, and lowest seed projection of 9.
Need a strong close to steer clear of that 8/9 seed line and avoid a second round matchup vs. the 1 seed (projected as of today would be Auburn, Duke, Iowa State, and Bama).
Starts tomorrow... take care of business in Blacksburg. Go Tigers!
