When thinking about future conference affiliation, I thought it would be interesting to look at the number of times Clemson has played each team in football from the three conferences that may be Clemson's future conference home (ACC/SEC/BIG). The only semi-surprise for me was how few times we have played teams from the BIG. Of the 18 teams in the BIG, there are 4 teams we have played only once and 11 teams we have never played. That leaves only three teams that we have played multiple times: Maryland (62 games), Ohio St (5 games), and Nebraska (2 games).

Clemson's top 10 teams played (number of games) are 6 ACC, 3 SEC, & 1 BIG:

1: South Carolina (SEC) - 114
2: Wake Forest (ACC) - 89
3: NCSU (ACC) - 88
4: Ga Tech (ACC) - 87
5: Maryland (BIG) - 62
6: Georgia (SEC) - 60
