In camp media availabilities several of the players have stated something along the lines of Cade growing into a leader this offseason and it not feeling forced. I think Tate’s comments yesterday came the closest to the implication that the team wasn’t bought in on Cade as a leader last year and (my words) that it seemed performative.
Did y’all hear rumblings of this last year or was it something they did a very good job of keeping in-house?
