Just a little perspective and reflection. Only one team gets to win it all each year. Saban and Day are the only coaches still at a school that has beaten us in the playoffs. We haven't been there to face Kirby, but if you want to throw them in the conversation as well still a very small pool of elite teams/coaches.
I have no idea if we will win this weekend and I wouldn't be shocked to be in a 4th quarter battle. However, I still believe in Dabo, the staff, and this team. I've seen good things and excited to see us compete the rest of the year.
Way too early to be looking at next year... BUT if we can get hot with this young team this season I would expect us in the playoffs next year and as one of the favorites.
