I LOVE Clemson Basketball and watch every game (dating back to my time at Clemson 20 ish years ago when I missed only a few home games over 4 years), but don't really watch much College Basketball otherwise.
Can someone explain to me wtf is going on with the rankings this year? Why is the entire top 25 dominated by the SEC? Our record, wins, stats, etc. should have us AT LEAST in the top 20, and most years top 15.
The SEC has 5 teams in the top 10. 5! And another 4 in the top 25. I know Kentucky has always been a powerhouse, but the SEC certainly has never been a power house basketball conference. Most of those teams in the top 10 have worse records than Clemson.
What's going on? Is it really the ESPN contract/SEC bias thing that's happened forever in football? I'm genuinely so confused, and kinda shocked it's now transferring over to basketball.
