It seems to me that the NIL/Transfer Portal Market for basketball has matured much more quickly than that of football. Which in part I think is due to the basketball has been dealing with the transfer portal being heavily used for years and the era of one and dones. That said, it seems like Brad has masterfully been able to go to guys and sell a role on his team. 10 years ago, going to transfer players and selling a role would not have worked because everyone was selling more and more minutes. For football, how long is it going to take for the NIL/Tranfer market to mature and players actually have realistic expectations?
