So, Clemson needs to beat SC and have a miracle happen to even get to the ACC Championship. Here are some potential scenarios that could play out.
- Beat SC, backdoor into the ACC Championship - Win ACC Championship (11-2 Conference Champion)....We would be ranked high enough as a conference champion to get in.
- Beat SC, backdoor into the ACC Championship - Lose ACC Championship (10-3)....We ain't getting in over other 3 loss SEC teams
- Lose to SC, backdoor into the ACC Championship - Win ACC Championship (10-3)....We may not be ranked high enough as a conference champion to get in
- Lose to SC, backdoor into the ACC Championship - Lose ACC Championship (9-4)....no way we get in
- Beat SC, do not make the ACC Championship (10-2), maybe have enough to get an at large bid
