Hear me out. Jack Legget had a run of success which was second to none with constant trips to Omaha. Then his longtime assistants moved on to head coaching jobs and we saw a serious dip. Jack surrounded himself with quality assistants and the results showed on the field. Then came a dry patch of not being able to secure great assistant coaches and the trips to Omaha became non existent. Heck trips to Supers began to dry up.
So my question exists, are we seeing the same with Dabo. Were Jeff and Brent such tangible Pilar’s in the coaching staff that Dabo cannot(or should I say will not) fill with the same quality? I think Garret is gonna be good. Not sure about defensive side of ball. Still leaves other positions with not much coaching experience.
So is Dabo the next Jack?
Or so this more if not having Jimmys and Joes?
