Just for the record, I am against this. No different than affirmative action - although likely only temporary. No matter how you a want to try and justify/explain it, giving preference to one group, is discriminating against the rest.
Do I feel sorry for Jewish students who fear for their safety, and are being discriminated against in other ways at their current schools- absolutely. However, the solution to that is not to give them preference over other students. It is wrong no matter who is doing it.
