I have watched some of guy's highlights, and he looks pretty good IMO. Great hands at the point of attack, holds up vs the run well, plays with an edge, great measurables.

I know it is early in the process, but why is he ranked the 45th best DT in country? Am I missing something here?

I look at his offer list (which tells me more than rankings, usually) and includes Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, and Notre Dame. You get offered by Alabama as a DL, you are one hell of a bauce.

Then you see in-state kids ranked twice as high as him with offers from East Carolina, Colorado State, and Wake Forest.

My question is: Should we base more faith in 1) Jeffries being evaluated and offered by us 2) Receiving an offer from Alabama and others 3) Size, and potential.

or will his ranking shoot up once the camp circuit ramps up and he is seen up close?

@Paul Strelow, is he a 5.6 or that a little low in your opinion?
