I can't look at this video and not think it's intentional.
The Blackhawk seemingly increases altitude at the last second as if purposefully targeting the aircraft. Additionally, visibility was good. There was plenty of time to see the aircraft. I hope i am wrong.
Also of note is that there were other close calls recently at the same airport.

Why would it matter if the co-pilot was trans? The person you're speculating about was highly experienced and joined the forces as a white male.

Remind me of your flight experience? JFC, every single pilot on TI who has discussed this has said it's an extremely difficult area to fly in and they completely understand how this could happen. Not one of them has suggested that this was intentional.

IF, big IF, the co-pilot is trans it is a confirmation , unfortunately, of everything that we have been saying about the trans epidemic.
Trans is a mental illness. They should not be in positions of power. They should not be flying Blackhawks. They should not be air traffic controllers.
If he joined as a white male and then thought he was a female and wanted to mutilate his body to prove as much, that should be a glaring signal that something is wrong with him. He should not be allowed to put others in harms way.

The air corridor going down the potomic wouldn't cross the glide slope for that runway. control measures such as that are in place so that even if ATC screws up or the pilots screw up comms if they just stay within that corridor the worst you'll have is a near miss.

"because the helo pilot wanted to" is one way that it could have happened. But there was an instructor pilot there as well, so how in the heck could he let the pilot fly into that airplane and not try and stop it?

There was a plane taking off at the same time, i believe... so they could have saw that one and not the one the tower was talking about

However, look at the video. The pilot is flying straight for several seconds with seemingly plenty of room to visually see the airplane. Additionally, they should have been getting anti-collision warnings in the cockpit. At the last second, to me, it looks like the blackhawk increases altitude into the airliner like it was targeting it. Additionally, the Blackhawk was above its hard flight cap altitude. Add to this that there were 3 near misses previously and i can't help but think this was intentional.
Murder-suicide is possible. The investigation will have to rule it out. I personally find it unlikely because there was copilot sitting right there as well, BUT you don't know what was said or where everyone's eyes were. pilot could have confirmed that he had the plane in sight so the co-pilot then could have started doing or looking at something else while the pilot deliberately flew into the plane.

it was a UH-60M . I don't believe that it has all the anti collision stuff. its not a commercial aircraft, so avionics are going to be focused on terrain avoidance not air traffic. Someone needs to check me on that. The jet was getting ready to land, it would have had all their shit turned off so that it wouldn't be yelling at them non-stop because they were about to hit something (the runway). Murder suicide is possible for sure.
Can more than one pilot have control of the helicopter at the same time?
Say the co-pilot saw the airplane but the captain had the controls. Could the co-pilot do anything?
i'm not a pilot but i've got plenty of time riding in helos. Both pilots have controls. They could fight over them if they wanted to. But the video doesn't indicate that. if it were intentional i would think that the copilot was looking / doing something else because the pilot confirmed that he saw the plane or maybe the copilot didn't see it.
I'd view it as a major problem if they had avionics turned off. No need for the military to be doing "dark" missions near commercial traffic. Go fvcking train somewhere else.
