I was discussing with a friend during the game that the defense is playing at an extremely high level when they do not shoot themselves in the foot. Decided to do some research and this is what I found in short. Since the Georgia game the defense is literally shutting down the opposition when they do not commit a penalty. There are a few scores that happen late once the game was decided but besides this teams just do not go down the field on us. I've been critical of Wes but we are playing at a high level and getting better.

Wake Forest two scoring drives
1. Pass interference
2. Pass interference
Besides these two drives the longest drive that Wake had was on the last possession of the game.

FSU two scoring drives
1. Roughing the passer
2. Touchdown with no penalty however FSU did have to convert a fourth down to keep the drive going.

Stanford two scoring drives
1. Personal foul facemask that puts the ball into plus territory
2. No penalties but again it was the last possession of the game

NC State 5 scoring drives
1. Personal foul facemask
2. 3 Defensive pass interference calls
3. No penalties (Clemson already has 59 at this time)
4. No penalties
5. No penalties

App State 3 scoring drives
1. Personal foul facemask
2. Two field goals
3. Pass interference on the defense

So in summary since the Georgia game Clemson has allowed 13 touchdowns and committed penalties on 8 of those drives. The only team that can stop Clemson is Clemson.
