Got you, seems like jumping the gun, but you are welcome to the opinion. With as much money that goes through our government's hands, I don't doubt there's some fraud, 100%. And I hope they catch the ones doing it, and are honest about the ones that aren't.
These talking points amuse me. How does a lab leak "theory" harm you in any way shape or form? They haven't proven it either way because the Chinese won't cooperate and without them, there's no way of knowing. So regardless if it came from a zoonotic source or a lab leak, the outcome was the same - you still had a better chance against the worst effects if you'd gotten vaccinated. Accusing us of funding it, is just pretzel logic that also doesn't stand up to scrutiny.
All this nonsense is just a whack-a-doodle way of trying to let Trump off the hook by blaming the deep state.

What made them experimental? mRNA has been studied since the 1960s and the Covid vaccine went through the appropriate clinical trials before it was approved by the FDA. Every vaccine has side effects for "some" people and the cardiac side effects you mention were extremely rare and mostly occurred in young men, they were fleeting and easily addressed.
The thing you should question more than anything else is why is it that only magas were vaccine deniers? Are they just smarter than the rest of the general population? There's an answer there that I believe you're not willing to admit.

I don't think you should be fired for it but I also understand why large companies did it to make sure all their employees were safe. My company also required that we be vaccinated to come into the office because so many of our New York employees were afraid to come in, because NY was ravaged if you recall. But rather than fire anyone, he allowed people to work remotely if they didn't get vaccinated.
We can't make you care about public health but it would be better for everyone if you didn't resist it so stridently for, let's be honest, political reasons.

But we can't deny there is a lot of fraud in the system.
1) The numbers are so massive, the budget is in the billions. The law of averages tells us there is fraud in there.
2) Those of us who have lived in big cities see the fraud with our own two eyes. There is always a guy running some type of racket at the governments expense. "I got a guy" is a stereotype for a reason. Shit "fell off the truck". Cops "Look the other way". Some people have scams that they are proud of. They just figure if someone is stupid enough to continue paying them, why should they stop taking payment.
So, I agree that much of the spending is spending that republicans just don't agree with. But those acting like there is no fraud or every little thing they found was a "mistake" or an "honest mistake" ..... BS. There are rackets being run throughout the Government.

Again EVERY vaccine has adverse side effects for a small percentage of the population but after 8 billion+ doses there may be deaths associated with 55. That math screams that it's safe and you wouldn't have known either way when it first came out, you just chose not to trust, or should I say, you chose to show your unhappiness that Trump lost.
Numbers you reference are not correct. Plus the nature of the damage causes delayed effect death that's labeled as not connected. This is based on what lots of practicing physicians are saying.

By that caveat, what I was really allowing for is this scenario. I am a member of Congress. I have a son who is autistic and care about it greatly. So I volunteer to join a board of a charity. Everyone on the board gets paid X amount for their time, fundraising, etc. Because it is one of the causes I care about, I work to have it part of the budget.
So in that scenario, it would show that potentially millions of dolllars went to a charity of which I am on the board. But in actuality, I didn’t do anything illegal or actually sketchy. Though, a screenshot and implication could’ve made it seem that way.
That was why I said large kickback. But you’re right, in the above scenario, I shouldn’t receive any level of actual kickback. Rather just compensation commiserate with the position. And that compensation and position shouldn’t depend on the funding either (aka, get us this funding and we’ll add you to our high paying board).

I think, although you are left of center you at least bring up some good points. The problem is you get lumped in with dickpick, Dr.Goober, and others. Even worse than that, people share their accounts with other folks. 1 is a flaming lib and another is a level headed MAGA genius like myself (LOL, see what I did there).
I hear you. But I feel the same way about a lot of the people on the right here, but still attempt to address the content of the message at least. While I wildly different on most things discussed here with a lot, they still make posts I can agree with, or at minimum, I understand where they are coming from with their opinions, so I give them the benefit of the doubt that they aren't just trolling, if that makes sense. Just think we would all have better discussion if we tried to address the points of a post, rather than trying to argue against the entire opposing viewpoints all at one time.

It absolutely does.
My biggest pain point is not being able to admit when you were wrong, or mistaken, etc. But that's often a trait of trolls who know they're wrong but also know it drives people crazy so they lean in to it.
I think that's the definition of a troll though. They don't actually have a position on anything. They just have to oppose any/everything someone else says.
