I am totally OK with reparations being paid with only one condition.

The people who vote for reparations have it paid from their personal assets.

The people who vote against it will not be involved in paying any money.

There will be no public funds or tax money used to pay it,

Totally privately financed by the people who want to pay it.

So go pay it.

I’d apply this concept to a lot of areas. Put a voluntary contribution field on the tax return. If you want to donate money to government programs, write the check.

But don’t ask others to pay for things that you want, yet are unwilling or unable to pay for.
