lol. I may live half the country away from my family, but I still speak with my parents every other day. They may be republicans - they’re not MAGA, bc they’re highly educated, but they’re civil and intelligent. They are single issue voters - lower taxes - and that’s all that matters to them. I’ve had this discussion with them as nauseum, but they’re still family and I know they hate Trump, but selfishly vote for him.
I don’t ruin my personal relationships despite their abhorrent views, because it’s not that important to me.
