This aged wellNot only is there video of it, he admitted it. He says he was in a hurry and made a mistake by misunderstanding the sign on a door that's normally unlocked. He's slam dunk guilty of doing that but the board MAGAs are trying to make the case that he did it intentionally to disrupt a vote he was a yes vote for and therefore deserves to be treated just like the J6ers. What he did may have been stupid but that ridiculous claim is even dumber.
“Today, as I was rushing to make a vote, I came to a door that is usually open for votes but today would not open,” Bowman said in a statement. “I am embarrassed to admit that I activated the fire alarm, mistakenly thinking it would open the door. I regret this and sincerely apologize for any confusion this caused. But I want to be very clear, this was not me, in any way, trying to delay any vote.”
The alarm he activated was in the Cannon building, which is distinct from the Capitol, which was not evacuated. There are, it goes without saying, many fire alarms much closer to the House chamber."

He took down the warning signs. LOL, if this was a Republican the media would be losing their minds.
If he thought he needed to flip that lever (ie fire alarm) to exit those doors, why did he walk away from the doors after pulling the fire alarm? He never made a move toward the doors. Why remove the warning signs? None of it makes sense.
Still think he intentionally pulled the alarm in order to delay a vote.
