Taking a few examples (where the checks and balances are actually working btw), and making them stand for an entire branch of government is losing your credibility with anyone who doesn’t already agree with you on here. In fact, I keep seeing posts where people are agreeing no one is above the law.

It’s just exhausting repeatedly saying “deport illegals and criminals after legal due process” and then arguing against “Dems want them to stay”. I get how it’s a lot easier to argue against made up positions by your “opponent”, happens all the time in actual politics by both sides (they want to take your guns and kill babies! vs they want to control your body and hate black people!). But unless you’re just having fun and trolling, it’s not actual, real life substantial discussion.

you want to point it out, have at it. Post whatever you want. I’m more asking when discussing something with a person on here, you argue against that persons argument then. Want to distinguish and say something like “you may say this, but the democratic brand says this” fine. I tend to think you’re arguing against what the GOP wants their opponents brand to be (again, the kill babies vs control your body example) but at least you’d be acknowledging what the other person is saying at the time.

Dear Sir,

I don't have the time nor desire to be on here as much as some of the folks. What I wanted to say is I agree in principle with the majority of your posts and arguments on the illegal immigrant's issue. It strains my brain to understand some of the reasoning of the liberal progressive folks on almost everything. I ask myself every day what has happened to the moderate people oriented Democratic Party.

If I were a Democrat I would have to ask where the Party I signed onto. Keep the battle up as I am busy with honeydew jobs, my children and grandchildren along with serving in volunteer organizations and local modest public elected position hoping to make the focus of my work to make things better.
