Dems and the Sports Fan Community

Most of my friends lean left and love/play sports.
But since the majority of my sports teams are in the south (Liverpool excluded lol), that is definitely likely true.
Was just curious what your initial thoughts were when the Super Bowl crowd all Cheered for DJT and then booed Tay Tay
Should've known there was a catch or some troll you would eventually make. Not really interested in the discussion tbh. The reverse either. I hate the polarization of politics and hate that people have seemingly become "fans" of politicians/parties/etc. Have no issue with people applauding the POTUS when out in public, even if I personally disagree with him a lot.
Are we sure those weren't just Philly fans since she semi-represents their opponent? If not, I'm sad for this country that they would boo a self-made billionaire who has donated millions upon millions to charity and carries herself with class at all times. it's disgusting but let's not pretend this tweet from a small and petty man didn't play a role.

Bites both ways. I personally was not a big fan of politics until the country went sideways. Another discussion for another time, because we won't agree. Just don't see how you could applaud the past POTUS. He would have never made the game anyway.
Applaud for any US president before then!
All that said, it still says something when you get that kind of unconventional roar for the POTUS at a sporting event.
Deny or spin it all you want.
