If so, why?

With online banking, it's literally done for you.

Also, why tf are you writing checks? The only thing I've ever written a check for is for rent when I couldn't afford a house in my 20s. Even if you are writing checks, they still show up online.

I'm willing to listen to answers as to why. I just can't think of any.
