DOGE Dividend thoughts?

For the record I'm in the middle of the political spectrum.

This seems like a great idea to me. $5k checks to all tax payers from the DOGE waste and fraud cuts.

Anyone against this?

Yeah i'd rather see the money go towards paying off our national debt, and not potentially cause inflation to increase, since that's kind of the whole point of the exercise.

Politically it would be a good idea, I think. ...Cut a bunch of programs to help illegals and the wacky LGBTQXYX foreign aid stuff and returning some of that that back to the people who have been paying for it for years. I think it will sound good to the average joe. We need all of that to pay down the debt, but i think that they are going to throw the masses a bone.

The trial baloon has been floated so i guess we'll see the overall reaction. .. but i think some sort of rebate is going to happen

Im pretty much against it.

I don't mind it, but if i had to vote i would vote NO.

Like the others have said, pay down the debt and lower taxes with the savings.
