EA Sports ?

I have always bought the new Madden game for a young relative every Christmas. Assuming that would be needed to get the coaches/players, etc. I seem to have discovered that the game updates all that and a new one wouldn’t be needed very often and then only for technical reasons? Amirite?

And will the same be true for EA Sports College Football?
