Elections Expert Seth Keshel Releases National Fraud Numbers: Finds 8.1 Million Excess Votes in US Election, Affirms Trump Won PA, MI, WI, NV, AZ, GA

Nope. You guys are wrong. Whomever this person is, can't exist in the structure in place. They'd be ostracized by their party and frozen out of any semblance of real power. Party leaders on both sides are.too powerful.

Have to deal with money in politics and the two party system first.

I think ranked choice voting (or almost anything other than first past the post) would be a prerequisite to eliminating the two party system.

It’s hard for me to see 3+ parties having meaningful power with our current election framework. I think it will always devolve into a lesser of two evils scenario.

All that being said, I’m just some jabroni with an opinion. I’d be interested to hear the thoughts of someone who works in that arena.

This is true. We were on our way to a Bernie Sanders candidacy on the left before Clyburn stepped in and helped deliver SC.

No republican has a shot at the nomination if Trump runs. Even if half the party doesn't want Trump, the votes will be dispersed and everyone loses.

The two party system and the growing chasm between the extremes of both parties makes it very difficult to put forward logical candidates.

RCV is an interesting option. We just passed a bill last leg session in Colorado to allow municipalities to run RCV elections. It's a nightmare from an administrative standpoint and a tech standpoint because it's all so new (see: NYC muni elections in 21) but we'll see how it does. Certainly pushed by advocates as a solution to this problem.

But you are right, just starting a 3rd party isn't gonna solve that problem. Those folks have ballot access issues, no organized structure to find and train staff and candidates, and no history to call upon. If our laws changed to make it easier for 3rd party candidates to make the ballot it might lead to a major shift in the way 3rd parties organize. Something has to give. Can't just be two parties anymore, it's too toxic.

everyone vote third party. there is a 75% chance your vote won't matter in the end anyway. just vote for any third party candidate.
