I've been saddened by the need for Old White dudes to worship another old white dude because he is an asshole. Literally for no other reason than him being an asshole to people they also don't like.
The thing that has surprised me the most, though I've suspected it for a while, is the clear realization that magas don't see the world the way everyone else does - it seems they have a singular focus aimed at owning, harming and extinguishing the libs - here at home and even in other countries that have the unmitigated gall to be more liberal than they are. They will go to any lengths to destroy anyone or any entity they view as the slightest bit lib-friendly. I can't understand how they have that much hatred for their fellow Americans and our allies but it's clear that they do.
They have been absolutely convinced that liberals want to destroy the country. They believe it in their core.
Look at the instance proclamations about DEI, look at the alternative facts that they spout, there willingness to pivot and excuse.

Alina Habba claims that the reason that the truck load of Epstein files haven't been released yet is that they want to prosecute the clients on the list.
The wait will be worth it if they actually arrest these criminals.
But they cannot redact important information. We want the truth!
