Listen, I am not defending or trying to debate this. What I am trying to say is that this is the same exact argument made for the USAID stuff that DOGE uncovered. When I called that out all the resident libs in here gave me that literal excuse verbatim. They all said the USAID funding was in fact approved by congress despite a lot of things that would never pass. Just like this situation. I am simply making a parallel between the two situations and calling out the drastic difference in reactions from the same exact people. The outrage should go both ways right? Just as much as this pisses you off, I think the waste in USAID was much worse and you guys had zero problem with that. I suppose I’ll get flamed for this not being specifically on topic even though in my mind they are completely related because it shows this is less about what and more about who.
