It's a huge mistake to take the typical liberal route and expect the government to build recharging stations. This needs to be done by private industry.

Right now the battery technology has to improve the range of EVs before anyone should spend a shit ton of money. A clear much-improved battery technology needs to emerge first. Not saying Tesla needs to provide the charging stations. Just saying it needs to be built by private industry.
