For the 1st time in 25 years…

There’s been zero named storms in the month of August ‘22

Yay climate change!
Yay

Not seeing any problems for me

But see, the fact that we have not had any named storms will make some alarmed about climate change….too many storms and it’s because of climate change. Not enough storms and it’s climate change.
so i guess you figured out what the word change means. good work

The polar ice caps have so severely melted, the seas are no longer warm enough to create Hugos!

Ummm... No. There seems to be a flawed understanding of what climate change is. We are talking average global temps increasing by a couple of degrees over the course of a century, not a major single event. So yep, a great year for hurricanes... and that's a general indication of sea surface temps and shear effects in the different layers of atmosphere. If you look at a top 10 list of most active hurricane seasons, 8/10 have been since 1980... Top 10 list of the lowest activity has only one year after 1980. THAT'S the kind of trends you look at... It's been hot as shiit here in Idaho this summer. But that doesn't support climate change... the fact that most if not all the hottest years on record have occurred in the last 40 years does.

The Climate Change crowd loves to create fear and panic just like the left and race baiting hate mongers a few which live here on TI

Climate change is a fact

Humans are a small part

Prayers to all those involved.

Hopefully they all were vaccinated before landfall.

Why do you think God is punishing Florida? Was it Desantis' terrible treatment of immigrant families? Seeing as how God's own son was an immigrant, I am sure he has a soft spot for them.

I think this hurricane is a natural occurrence, and pray for all of those affected by it.

But you’re welcome to keep typing nonsense, if you’d like.

You're right, hurricanes are natural events but does it not register with you that this is the most powerful hurricane ever to hit the west coast of Florida? After Antarctica lost an ice shelf the size of Los Angeles back in March, the largest observed since we've received satellite data? And after the west and Europe experienced historic drought events this year? And don't forget, the US experienced the two largest fires in it's history the last two years as well. Just coincidental because you think so?

You do realize the earth’s climate is ever changing, correct?

What would’ve been the narrative during the melting of the last ice age?

@dpic73 , this guy believes that Adam and Eve ran with dinosaurs, so you are probably not going to get anywhere with this discussion.

Mastodon farts or the Democrats stole the ice? Sure it has changed but not like this. The majority of scientists agree that the current situation is man-made and I believe them over Rush Limbaugh, but that's me.

"New University of Melbourne research has revealed that ice ages over the last million years ended when the tilt angle of the Earth's axis was approaching higher values.

During these times, longer and stronger summers melted the large Northern Hemisphere ice sheets, propelling the Earth’s climate into a warm ‘interglacial’ state, like the one we’ve experienced over the last 11,000 years."

It’s funny, but while you’re jestering about God & Christianity, I can’t help but picture you as Lieutenant Dan, with Howard Stern’s head.

I wish you the best.

They can kiss my rear end, Climate Change is a direct result of the NWO’s Chemtrail Program

More evidence

"Swiss glaciers have recorded their worst melt rate since records began more than a century ago, losing 6% of their remaining volume this year or nearly double the previous record of 2003, monitoring body GLAMOS said on Wednesday.

The melt was so extreme this year that bare rock that had remained buried for millennia re-emerged at one site while bodies and even a plane lost elsewhere in the Alps decades ago were recovered. Other small glaciers all but vanished.

“We knew with climate scenarios that this situation would come, at least somewhere in the future,” Matthias Huss, head of the Swiss Glacier Monitoring Network (GLAMOS) told Reuters. “And realizing that the future is already right here, right now, this was maybe the most surprising or shocking experience of this summer.”

More than half of the glaciers in the Alps are in Switzerland where temperatures are rising by around twice the global average.

Scientists across the Alps, including Huss, have been obliged to do emergency repair work at dozens of sites across the Alps as melting ice risked dislodging their measuring poles and wrecking their data.

The heavy losses this year, which amounted to about 3 cubic kilometers of ice, were the result of exceptionally low winter snowfall combined with back-to-back heatwaves. Snowfall replenishes ice lost each summer and helps protect glaciers from further melt by reflecting sunlight back to the atmosphere.

If greenhouse gas emissions continue to rise, the Alps’ glaciers are expected to lose more than 80% of their current mass by 2100. Many will disappear regardless of whatever emissions action is taken now, thanks to global warming baked in by past emissions, according to a 2019 report by the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change."

The climate changes. Everyone knows that. The argument is whether its man made climate change or not. No conclusive proof of that and nowhere near enough of a sample size.

Whatever man... the Republican side used to be climate change is a hoax (Remember your lord and savior telling you that it was the Chinese fooling us to hurt America?)... then they changed to "We aren't scientists and don't know", then its "Yes the climate is changing but humans aren't doing it. Now it's we don't have enough data to make that conclusion. EVEN though the consensus among climatologists is that this is the case.

I'm guessing that all the Climatologists are Deep State or corrupt or whatever Donald Trump is telling you now and the oil companies' scientists/politicians are given you the real truth.

Has nothing to do with Donald Trump. I just do not believe climate change is man made and thats my own conclusion totally separate from anything Trump has said on the subject.
