Is the gold still in Ft Knox? Talk about something that could shake the country to its core! I can't wait for the live walk through. Talk about transparency!!!

If it’s gone, I think we know who took it. 🤣

🤔

I’d like to see it.
I read that Steve Mnuchin inspected the gold in approximately 2017. He seems like an honest actor, would be surprised if he didn't speak up that something was amiss. But weirder things have happened. They could have pulled the wool over his eyes, although doubtful.

But in typical Trump fashion, it makes for good television. And it is somewhat of an advertisement for the administration on transparency and their agenda.

No, I meant that in a genuine way…I’d love to see all of it. I was fortunate enough in grad school to be at The Haile Mine during a pour and held a still warm gold brick right after they’d quenched it and cracked it out of the mold. It was something I’ll always remember. Platinum is very interesting as well since it also won’t oxidize, plus it’s about 10% heavier than gold.

Oh, you meant literally!!

That's a cool story.

Can’t recall all of the times I’ve come across small spoil piles while fly fishing in the Sierra since my original assignment out here in ‘95-‘97. Can only imagine that with gold now seemingly stabilizing around $2950/oz how many more I’ll find this spring. Just last fall, I stumbled on someone’s claim while stalking some wild rainbows in a tiny creek up near Donner Pass.
