Game over

We this was not true. He lost the last election and got fewer votes than did the first time. Don't let the fact get in the way, though.

You are 100% wrong. He would unquestionably get fewer votes in a general election this time than he did in 2020. Anyone who does not believe that is just blind to their ideology or stupid.
I'm not happy about correcting you on this point, but if not for the votes that Biden got, he would have had the most votes in Presidential history in 2020.

You are right, I should have been more clear. I meant from a % of voters perspective. Turnout was certainly high in 2020.

But I do believe you're right about him getting less votes this time, because those votes were before the insurrection and two more years of lies about the election.

I think it is pretty clear based on the midterm elections. They elected a senator in PA who clearly had intellectual capacity problems and is currently in a mental institution on top of that. Scooby doo should have been able to beat him. All you had to do was listen to him attempt to make coherent sentences(and fail) to know he was utterly incompetent for the job. He might be the worst candidate for a national election I have ever seen.

Trump got around 10M more votes in 2020 than he did in 2016.

That depends on your definition of a few thousand votes. Even if he won all the sates he lost by 1% or less(WI,AZ,GA) he would still not win.
44k votes in 3 states separation prevented an electoral college tie. We know dems cheated heavily in MI and PA also to win those states.

The tight races in the trio of states had a big electoral impact. As NPR's Domenico Montanaro has put it, "just 44,000 votes in Georgia, Arizona and Wisconsin separated Biden and Trump from a tie in the Electoral College."

Of course, Trump is no stranger to narrow victories. He won the 2016 election thanks to just under 80,000 combined votes in three of those six key states.

That's untrue... Did you even bother to look that up? Trump got more votes than any Presidential Republican Candidate in history in 2020.

In 2016 he received almost 63 million votes (Clinton got almost 66 million).

In 2020 he received just over 74 million votes (Biden got just over 81 million).

Those are the facts and EASILY looked up as compared to you making up things and presenting them as facts. So anyone who believes that actually knows the facts and IS NOT blind or stupid.

FWIW, I do think he'd get fewer votes in the General Election in 2024, but that's speculation.

That is the dirty little secret that election truthers don't want to talk about. They say mail in ballots were fraudulent, but trump benefited greatly from them as well. Making it easier for people to vote doesn't just help dems.

Man, I really fvcking hope not......

He has already won.

They stopped counting around midnight in the known contested states, kicked all the republicans and press out with Trump holding immense leads. By 6am the next morning hundreds of thousands of votes for Biden showed up magically and the rest is history. What happened in that 6 to 8 hours? We know.

Once again, NOT TRUE. Show us a single case of this that stood up in court. I especially remember Trump telling us this about PA vote counting. BUT, in court under oath, Trump's OWN LAWYERS admitted that "There were a nonzero number of Republican poll watchers in the counting room".

There were poll watchers in there at times. All cases were kicked out due to lack of standing. No trials have occurred.

See, there is no possible way you still believe this unless you are mentally handicapped.

Hershel Walker says hi, but you are correct. Oz was an unelectable Trumpian, but that dude from PA that did get elected NEVER should have been put in office. I don't know about his intellectual capacity, BUT he DID have a stroke a little over a year ago and it really messed with his ability to speak clearly. I posted earlier that even assuming his intellectual capacity was not effected by the stroke, part of his JOB is to stand up in the Senate and advocate for his state and the ideas he has. He's obviously not capable of doing a good job of that right now.

I kind of followed that campaign off and on and Oz actually made fun of the guy's speech problem. Out loud and on camera. What a dumbass and and asshole. Who makes fun of people that have had strokes? ANY reasonable Republican candidate could have won that election EASILY. I'm just not sure why anyone thought Oz was the man. He's basically the MyPillow guy with a medical degree.

I've tried to explain that last point to him so many times. He won't even try to understand and just think we are lying.
Ditto. And I've pointed out many, many other similar things. But he will NEVER accept the election results, NEVER. Hell, a few weeks ago he posted that Biden removed his tax returns from the internet. That sounded silly to me and I googled "Joe Biden tax returns". The freaking 2nd option on Google was a link to Biden's taxes that are available on ... WAIT FOR IT!!!!

Whitehouse.gov

So that's what you are dealing with... anything anti Biden and pro Trump just gets posted as the gospel... No proof needed. I'm not a Biden fan, and wouldn't lose a second's sleep if he were jailed... but DAMN.

Of course he did Mr Bragg ran on getting Trump. Nothing else matters crime, murder, assault, rape, car jacking, none of that matters Getting Trump !!!!!
You mean he ran on doing the right thing? What gets lost in all the hysteria is that Trump paid these women off to suppress their stories before the 2016 election. The Right has had a nuclear meltdown because Twitter suppressed a story about a laptop for a couple days, believing that would have made a difference in 2020. If that would have really made a difference then Trump would have never been President in the first place. In other words, this isn't just any old case of a man paying a hooker for sex.

Also, do we really want Presidents to be above the law? Think about that long and hard because if you believe they should, what will stop any future President, whether Democrat or Republican, to do whatever they want to gain or stay in power? Besides, whether you like it or not, he's guilty, so it's not like Bragg is manufacturing a crime.

"A majority of Americans think that the slate of state and federal investigations into former President Donald Trump are fair, according to a new poll, despite Republican attempts to frame the probes as a left wing witch hunt of the former president.

A 56 percent majority of respondents think the investigations into Trump are fair, according to a new NPR/PBS/Marist poll, with 41 percent of saying the inquiries are a “witch hunt.”

Guess im stupid then.

It must be stupid to think that citizens lives have improved since Trump left office. Higher inflation. More crime. Gender Disorder sweeping the nation. Border wide open. Let Russia invade Ukraine. Horrible pullout of Afghanistan. Banks collapse and bailed out. I mean the whole thing is a clown show.

How stupid of someone to want the clown show to end.

Honestly I don't think it would have mattered much because Hillary was such an unlikable candidate.

I don't think it would have swung many voters.

That doesn't mean it isn't illegal, just point of fact (or opinion, really)

Hillary was way up in the polls before Comey re-opened her email investigation two weeks before the general. If that affected the voters that much, then Trump paying off two hookers could have had a similar effect. She was unlikeable but she still got 3 million more votes than Trump did, so that new info on her, that did not get suppressed, could have absolutely had an effect in the swing states. Exit polling showed that as well.

Hillary and the DNC's hubris regarding campaigning in the rustbelt is what did her in. they completely ignored that area because they thought it was a dem stronghold, and got absolutely trounced by Trump. It's a big reason why Biden was given the nom in 2020, bc they thought he'd be able to secure the rust belt.

The difference is that the root of the Trump charges is a personal character issue (not great), while the charges against Hillary cast doubt as to whether she could handle the office (keeping classified info on a personal email server is a really bad idea).

Nikki Haley was accused of adultery when she ran for Governor the first time and it did not affect her.

I'm not defending Trump's actions mind you.

That played into it as well but she was up by 7 points in mid-October before the news cycle exploded with news about her email server. This article lays it out well.

"And the ground began to move under the Clinton team’s feet just 20 minutes after its Arizona announcement, with a tweet from Rep. Jason Chaffetz, R-Utah, the chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, who said the FBI was looking at Clinton’s emails — again.

"FBI Dir just informed me, 'The FBI has learned of the existence of emails that appear to be pertinent to the investigation.' Case reopened."

Back to the point of this post, Trump thought it might affect the election or he wouldn't have paid them to suppress their stories. Who knows if it would have made a difference or not but the way he handled it has been determined to be a crime. Hillary's wasn't
