I’m not sure if this has been discussed, but Adam Randall’s TD catch in the 3rd quarter looked unusual to me. I watched it again, and sure enough, it’s a play that we have never run before. Riley called a bucket draw and gave Klubnik the option to use the delayed 2 seconds to pass the ball before the lineman released down field.
This is such an ingenious wrinkle, bc it prevents illegal man downfield, and it gives your quarterback more time to make the decision.
