Grocery cost question

WTF.
I will concede that the big man probably had no idea WTH he was actually doing, but you can't be that stupid!

Edit: On second thought...

So you can't name an example?

Just because you didn't like Biden doesn't make him some crazy liberal. He was literally elected as a reaction to the mainstream party not wanting to go far Left with Bernie Sanders.

Dear beloved folks who thought through everything and decided to support Donald Trump for president.
How, will our grocery prices be lowered? Since the inflation of our goods was such a very important issue and one that was apparently the top of the list, along with immigration, how will this administration lower food costs?

Also, how will that occur if we also deport the people that make up 50% of the farm industry work force, undocumented workers?
Thanks in advance.

We won't know going forward since Trump has made sure the data will be less reliable by cutting the budget by 8%. Imagine that...

AI Overview

The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) is reducing the amount of data it collects for its Consumer Price Index (CPI) reports due to resource constraints, which could impact the accuracy of inflation data. Specifically, they are cutting back on in-person visits, follow-ups for non-responses, and travel costs. The BLS states that these reductions are necessary because current resources can no longer support the full collection effort.

Here's a more detailed breakdown:
  • Cost Increases:
The BLS has seen rising costs for data collection over time, making it difficult to maintain the existing data collection methods without cuts.

  • Reason for Reduction:
The BLS doesn't provide a specific reason for the cuts, but it's implied that budget constraints and the need to maintain overall operations are driving the decision.

  • Impact on Data:
The reduction in data collection could potentially lead to more volatile inflation figures, as a smaller sample size might not accurately represent the overall consumer price changes.

  • Potential for Reduced Accuracy:
While the BLS aims to maintain the reliability of its data, some economists have raised concerns that the reduced data collection could lead to less accurate inflation figures.

Winning is fun. Promises kept libs. You get to enjoy the benefits of the Trump excellence too though.
