Stephen Miller, who was chosen by President-elect Trump to be his deputy chief of staff for policy, said mass deportations will be Trump’s first priority.
Miller joined Fox News’s “Sunday Morning Futures,” where he was asked by host Maria Bartiromo about Trump’s plans to begin deportations on day one of his impending term.
Trump has plans to “issue a series of executive orders that seal the border shut and begin the largest deportation operation in American history,” Miller said, as highlighted by Mediaite.
Oh ok, so never tell people what you are doing, create scapegoats, say whatever to win, then when you win, continue saying you are going to go after the scapegoats but don't actually do it.

I'll tell you what I think. I think they will selectively use this mass deportation to attack anyone in the business community who doesn't kneel before them. Thats' what I think.
Sure. If they come in legally then that is fine. There are paths to citizenship already. There is a process.
An orderly and efficient immigration system could be a great asset to this country.
Having roaming bands of people illegally entering the coutnry and going wherever they please and overwhelming our citizens is not ok.

If you are illegal, you are not safe. You broke the law and will be held accountable just like an American citizen would be held accountable for breaking the law. Will some non-criminals (Well they all broke the law to get here) get swept up in that process, most likely. But that is the way the cookie crumbles. No one is above the law right?
If you want to come in the country, there is a legal process for that. Get in line.
The plan is to stop illegal immigation 100%. When that is done, and the criminals have been evicted, then we will move on to reforming the immigration system to make it more efficient and work for the American people.
If it was up to me, there would be an app that worked great. We need people picking crops in Arizona? Then give the people who want to come here the chance to do that. Make sure they don't overwhelm the Arizona communities by putting more workers than needed in one area. Make sure they are spread out among the different school systems so that one school is not overwhelmed.
Put the people that want to be here and contribute to our country in a positive way a path to citizenship. Demonstrate that you will adhere to and respect our cultural norms. Everybody wins in this situation except the criminals, and I'm fine with that.

Also, if we are talking about people who over stay their visa or fly here and never leave, those people, when caught are already deported.
So again, what actually is the plan? These points you are making are so vague, that no one actually enforcing them would understand who the population is they are targeting.
Do you actually think an illegal immigrant, in this country, when caught doing a crime, doesn't get deported?
None of you people have any ****ing idea how this works.
We need more labor. Constantly. It currently takes 3-6 months for most H visas (temp work visas). If we did what you are so naively suggesting we'd need to quadruple the size of our immigration enforcement and processing agencies.
The government isn't a business and can't be run like one.

I agree that we need the workers and the problem won't be fixed overnight. It has been broken for a long time, and it will take a while to fix. But we can agree we need the workers. Hopefully we can also agree that an orderly and efficient immigration system would benefit all Americans.

Trump never said he would lower the costs of groceries. He said he would get inflation back under control and I am confident he will do it to slow down or stop further price increases.

Inflation is already under control. Lower now than it was for much of 2018 and falling.
