This will do nothing to solve discrimination towards groups of people that have been looked down on for the entirety of our country's history.Shocker - discriminating based on race is a bad thing.
Trump worked hard to increase his support with blacks before the election but now that he's starting his term by wiping out everything related to DEI and affirmative action, do you think he'll keep it?Shocker - discriminating based on race is a bad thing.

Even blacks want DEI to die. They don't want a leg up. They want to compete on an even playing field. The soft bigotry of low expectations will also come to an end given time.Trump worked hard to increase his support with blacks before the election but now that he's starting his term by wiping out everything related to DEI and affirmative action, do you think he'll keep it?
This isn't an argument about whether it's right or wrong but methinks they're probably a little put off by this all-out war against their interests. I also think you're taking for granted how they feel about it. Your comment is more illustrative of how white guys like you feel about it, not how they might feel.Even blacks want DEI to die. Racism against white people? Yeah I'm going to have to put that aside for now because it will not lead to any constructive conversation. But it wll stop the blatant, and illegal, racism against white people.
This requires that race be taken out of the equation, as it should. We are now a merit based society, as it should be.
No one, of any color, gets any preference. We are all created equal.
I'll rephrase. I have yet to meet, in person, a black person who thinks they are inferior and wants a lower set of standards. They all think its ridiculous. This isn't an argument about whether it's right or wrong but methinks they're probably a little put off by this all-out war against their interests. If you ignore the racism against white people you are ignoring the whole DEI Biden administration. But maybe you want to ignore that. Maybe you think skin color is a good way to allocate people and resources?Racism against white people? Yeah I'm going to have to put that aside for now because it will not lead to any constructive conversation.
Would you agree or disagree that people when hiring/promoting, have a bias towards people who they have more things in common with? Or that have previous relationships with?
Is this how you have serious conversations with others IRL? If so I feel for them.If you ignore the racism against white people you are ignoring the whole DEI Biden administration. But maybe you want to ignore that. Maybe you think skin color is a good way to allocate people and resources?
DEI is a poisinous scam. It lowers the bar for people of color and others, at the expense of us all. We all end up with a worse product in the end due to DEI.

What you are saying btw is very ironic and I know you don't see it.
