So did I, I think he was polling 3rd at best. I distinctly remember saying to my friend that this guy had a good chance.
My wife and I attended a Bernie Sanders rally at Winthrop in 2015. We had never heard a national politician speak before and though we are not Bernie supporters we thought we would see for ourselves.
Bernie's speech that night is exactly the same speech he gives until this day. It also seemed to be well orchestrated with students jumping up and down with every freebie he mentioned. He did hit on one issue that support which is infrastructure. He did not say how his ideas would be financed other than the billionaires.
I now receive 2-3 emails a day from Democrats and left wingers. I know I could opt out but I actually enjoy some of their emails. The emails ALWAYS end the same way; send money. I'm now being chastised for having zero contributions.
