Since the American chestnut tree seems to be out of consideration, given its susceptibility to blight, Have you had experience growing a European chestnut, Chinese, chestnut, or hybrid?
I’ve heard various things about the quality of the chestnuts themselves, but don’t have any first-hand experience with any of them.
